A day surfing with Momentum Surf School
Join us for an Epic Surf Day Out! Build confidence, develop your surf skills, have LOTS of fun and meet new friends in wild places. A full day of fun with surf instruction from Momentum Surf School and fully supported by Team Edge.
These days are designed as an introduction to our team and our services in general so are an ideal introduction to Edge for those who are considering joining one of our supported day services
They are also open to anyone who wants to have an epic day out surfing some of Scotland’s hottest surf spots - we’re very lucky to be on the East Coast and within easy reach of these epic locations!

An Edge Surf Day Out includes
Learn the fundamentals of surfing to let you discover the awesome sport of surfing, safely and with confidence
Pick-up Time: 9:00 am (sharp!) Drop-off Time (approx): 3:30 pm
Transport to and from the Edge campus at Eskmills to the selected surf locations** throughout Scotland (self-travel to and from Edge HQ is essential, there will be no other pick-up/drop-off points)
Learn fundamental surf skills from the expert surfing instructors at Momentum Surf School
On-shore games & land-based activities
Full support from TeamEdge’s autism & ASN support experts
* On-shore activities are location dependent
**Surf locations are all dependent on weather and conditions, as such, they can be subject to last-minute changes or postponements.

Essential Kit Items
You need to bring with you;
Wet shoes or old trainers you don't mind getting wet
A towel
t-shirt/hoodie - warm clothing to get changed into after surfing
Water-resistant sunscreen
Swimwear (worn under your wetsuit)
Please bring a packed lunch & plenty of fluids (bottles of water/juice)
All other items of clothing and equipment are supplied: wetsuits, boards and all safety equipment is provided
What’s included

Transport to and from Edge Campus to the picturesque surf locations in East Lothian and throughout Scotland
Please note: travel to and from Edge is essential - due to the location of the surf spots, we will NOT be doing any pick-ups or drop-offs anywhere other than the Edge Campus.

Surf school is being run by Momentum Surf School so you are being taught to surf by the best of the best!
With over 50 years combined surfing experience between Owner Dad Martin, daughter Tamzin and eldest son Owen, all are Fully qualified I.S.A Surf Instructors and have represented Team Scotland at both National and World Junior Championships. Martin an I.S.A Level 2 Coach, is also one of the Junior and Senior Team Scotland National coaches.
Surf sessions are 2 hours long and all equipment (wetsuits, boards etc) is provided
