Edge’s Day Services

Believe. Transform. Achieve

Sports & Outdoor Activities

Taking part in outdoor sports and activities in supported, safe, environments lets our young people achieve great things.

Being outdoors, working as a team and connecting with nature ensures the focus is on individuals’ well-being including self-esteem, resilience, confidence, social trust, positive functioning and friendships.

Cooking for Independence

Build confidence in cooking from scratch and cooking independently. Get to grips with food hygiene and safety as well as learn the skills to plan meals and buy ingredients on a limited budget.

Learn essential food preparation and kitchen skills to gain an understanding of ingredient alternatives that support healthier choices and make recipes work for their own tastes.

PATH Framework

Incorporating the PATH framework and highly individualised person-centred planning, our day services incorporate a combination of outdoor sports and activities, employability, social skills, cooking, volunteering, travel training and independent living skills.

Bespoke Planning

Each young person embarks upon an individualised supported pathway, in a peer-group setting, focusing on independence in whatever way is suitable for them.
