Sam has had multiple management posts leading teams and ensuring successful outcomes both in business and in her clinical career.

Always developing her own professional practice, she is not afraid of taking on new challenges and complex situations. An extremely self-motivated individual and passionate about her social principles, she is at the forefront of driving the social care and health sector forward to achieve better results for young adults with additional support needs.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Health Science in General Nursing, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing and a Certificate in Forensic Medicine and Science. She is also registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Council, UK.

30 years of multiple nursing roles, general nurse, psychiatric nurse, and forensic psychiatric nurse specialising in addictions.

What do you like about working for Edge?

The banter and the young people's successes - we have the BEST people.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working (hobbies etc)?

Hanging out with Spunky and Hobo our Beagles and the hubby - you will usually find us outdoors or on the ocean.

What makes you different to those you work beside (your niche)

I am an Aussie, hence hilarious, but with minimal tact and a terrible habit of just saying exactly what I mean - what you see is what you get.
