Support worker. I work with clients to help build their confidence and promote their independent living skills, making sure that they are involved in the decision-making and that their wants are at the centre of the support plan.

Most embarrassing thing about me
I failed my driving theory test four times before passing! (But passed the practical test first time).
Nobody knows about me
I did an art course at Glasgow School of Art and focused my portfolio on Tim Burton.
Weirdest thing about you
I have massive horror movie addiction (and will watch them alone at night)
I have a first-class degree in English and Film.
If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do at Edge, what would it be?
Lots of car rides, hill walks and laughs!
Fun fact about me
I have taken lessons in self-defence (Krav Maga).
Credentials prior to working with Edge
I have experience working with people with autism, disabilities, and mental health struggles. This includes working as a classroom assistant, a book club facilitator in a prison and teaching people with a range of disabilities how to horse ride.

I like working for Edge because I strongly believe in Edge’s values of person-centred care. Working for Edge means I am able to make a difference in people’s lives.
What I enjoy doing outside of work
I like art, yoga, cooking, wild swimming, walking, video games, reading, films, plants & animals.
Makes me different
I am a big geek! I like to read comic books, play video games, dungeons and dragons and board games.
